Gypsy California Red Blend 2013
The at the front I taste black cherries, but unfortunately it seems to linger too long and interrupts the rest of the flavor notes. I mildly taste a suggestion of pepper and then of blueberry, but this cherry flavor seems to be too clingy like a bad girlfriend. *note* I tried this wine again after drinking a double of whiskey, a pilsner, and a vanilla porter. The cherry notes in the wine is now less pronounced, therefore allowing for a wider bouquet of flavor-notes to reach my senses; which is very pleasant. I would recommend this to be a desert wine of sorts, or rather something to have after one has slightly numbed their tongue with other wines or spirits. — 9 years ago
