Super tight after double decanting... The 2011s need to lay down longer than 09 or 10. Once it softens up this is a crowd pleaser can, big red fruits, tannins are there, but it's a soft presence. Always a fun wine. — 9 years ago

En Chamberlin was the first Cayuse I ever tried, so it has a special place in my palate/heart. All the black olive rocks Walla Walla Cayuse funk is here - but I opened this one too early. There are better vintages but anyone hoping to taste what Cayuse is all about can find it here — 5 years ago

A fun one from Trey and Sleight of Hand as well as Mark Ryan, this 2007 is still hanging on and doing its thing. Big bouquet and then huge mouthfeel - it drinks more like a Molly dooker Australian style at 14.9, but Washington notes come through too. Really fun wine. — 5 years ago
