Bought at Canella delectable — 7 years ago
I've never had a 100% based Graciano grape Rioja before but this was exquisite. The flavours were full and rich and the body was intense. 10/10 would drink again and highly recommend. — 8 years ago
Well well well, isn’t that something! Envinate Lousas Vinos de Aldea. Give it some time in the glass to unwind and expose its inner complexity, a vibrant red fruit profile, lavender and capsicum is accompanied by a pronounced savoriness with crushed rocks, soil and white pepper. A fresh spine runs through the palate with solid but fine grained grip from the tannins. Ribeira Sacra. Mostly Mencia with some other stuff thrown in (field blend), whole cluster ferment in cement tank followed by elevage in neutral barrel. A privilege to have these unicorn wines available! — 5 years ago
Single parcel Mencía from a southwest facing slope of 80ish year-old vines. Opened yesterday along with the Viñas de Aldea (village version) the Aldea was much more approachable. Today the Seoane has really opened up, but does need a little cellar time (or a big decant) IMHO. Strawberry, graphite, wild herbs, black pepper, very fine tannin and vibrant acidity. 600ish bottles produced. — 9 years ago

Great taste, absolutely loved it in flavors, bouquet and texture. I hope we find it again because it was a rare find! Pity I didn't look up the vintage year. — 2 months ago
