A pure expression of a top wine region in Chile. Delanz is mainly sourced from “Alto Jahuel” vineyard, situated at the foothill of the Andes Mountains by the southern bank of the “Maipo” River, where a prime terroir for Cabs is all about. The blend composition is mostly dominated by 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, and 3% Petite Syrah. This Bordeaux-inspired wine brings an intense, perfumy and uplifting classic aromas of violets, mulberries and raspberries and some are also sensed on the palate. Definitely, It has a multi-layered mouthfeel, tannins are firm but balanced, and has some texture on the finish as well. Another premium signature of the famously female winemaker Emily Faulconer from first chilean winery since 1850. — a month ago
2008 in 2016. Smells of prosciutto, rubber and glue- Portobella mushroom, moss, tar, roasted strawberries. Think most prefer a dark ripe ps, but I like 'Em funky and this is right up my ally — 9 years ago
