Probably the best Merlot I've ever had. — 9 years ago
To me, Amalthea is the best winery in New Jersey. Elegant nose with tobacco and plums, with vanilla. Balanced finish. — 6 years ago
Lovely cab franc with just the right amount of mineral on the finish with hints of leather and dark fruit. — 8 years ago
Good wine especially during the Fall season. It's a bit dry and also light. Overall a nice wine. — 9 years ago
I waited over a year to get this wine and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely chewy red with notes of leather and dark berry. Velvety finish and dry without being too tannic. — 8 years ago
Velvet on the tongue, fruity without being sweet and zero bite. Well worth a purchase. — 8 years ago
Probably my favorite white — 9 years ago
Consistently great reds from this New Jersey winery. This one has the right notes of leather and berry with mineral for a good, drinkable red. — 10 years ago

Okay, no one is confusing this with a Chateau Margeaux, but that's only because it lacks the really deep complexity. And many other ways, it has the rich depth and smooth tannins and even some of the aromas of the real thing. Lovely one. — 4 years ago
