Picked this up from the St. Paul Greek Festival 2017. Nose of licorice and blackberries with flavors of blueberry, pepper, vanilla. A mellow, but highly enjoyable Syrah. My only regret was not getting a few more bottles!! — 7 years ago

Lovely dense, lush, mosaic layered oak aged Malagouzia.
Starts with yellow apple-like color.
Nose at first a bit shy, but being aerated well shows apricot, vanilla, pear, white raspberry, alstroemerias, melon. Whiff of caramel and orange.
Nearly full bodied oily palate, very rounded. Just right acidity. White currant, apricot, green gooseberry, sweetie, carambola, butter.
Sluggishly dissolving nuances of white currant, wild apple, white cherry.
Lovely pair to grilled swordfish with olive-lemon sauce. — 8 years ago
