Domestic Italian style Tuscan blend — 9 years ago
Barely straw colored. Let's start by saying blind, I'd have never guessed this was Pinot. If have said it was some blend of gewurstraminer and oaky Chardonnay despite the color. Initially you get this round, buttery tropical nose, that melts into crisp green apple and vanilla. Medium bodied and fat for a Pinot. Creamy and acidic and tart only toward the end of the mid palate and finish. Really interesting pinot. 91 — 11 years ago

Seemed a little thin and lifeless at first, but improved with time. The bottle was overfilled and some wine had come through the cork. Don't know if that affected things. — 8 years ago
