Underripe blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose. Accents include shoe leather, mushroom, and forest floor. Grippy tannins, great length, with lingering blackberry and boysenberry. Fairly high EtOH. — a month ago

Delicious Syrah from Cortona area. Dark fruit on the nose, plum, black cherry, accented by some pepper, anise, and clove/cinnamon. Secondary hints of Mediterranean scrub, tobacco, as well as floral notes (violet, lavender). Velvety on the palate with a bit of leather and balsamic. Great wine. — a month ago
Silky texture. Nice earthiness. A great Oregon Pinot. — 3 years ago
Nothing like a great French chard! — 3 years ago
Major old world tertiary notes coming through, reminiscent of a burgundy, but this wine has more force and body, and lacks the elegance of its French cousins. You’d never mistake it for a California pinot, that’s for sure. — a month ago
This wine is aging gracefully. Secondary and tertiary notes coming to the fore. Floral/spicy nose that is so fragrant. The cherry has turned dark, supported by more spice, clove, cinnamon. Truly an excellent wine. — a year ago
Beautifully balanced wine. Just a hint of fruit, nice earthiness, and mouthwatering acidity. — 3 years ago

Silky smooth and drinking beautifully after 14 years. Still quite a bit of life left if anyone has bottles lying around. — 9 days ago
