Terra Solla Cortona Syrah

Delicious Syrah from Cortona area. Dark fruit on the nose, plum, black cherry, accented by some pepper, anise, and clove/cinnamon. Secondary hints of Mediterranean scrub, tobacco, as well as floral notes (violet, lavender). Velvety on the palate with a bit of leather and balsamic. Great wine.
