From Bevela Wines at Au Bon Climat / Qupe Open House at Bien Nacido. Although a 2011 vintage, this is a recent release after extended barrel age. Made by Marisa Matela Beverly (Asst at ABC) and Kris Beverly. Floral nose jumps out of the glass. Bright acidity, earthy plum and cherry on the palate. Bought a couple of bottles to take home. — 8 years ago
Late add - tough ID for Delectable as this is the first time entered. This is from Bevela Wines, just released on Sunday. The unforeseen alchemy comes from the blend of 50% Le Bon Climat Teroldego with 50% Syrah, the latter from two vineyard sources. The Teroldego gives an aromatic and acidic lift to the more.traditional Syrah. Solid wine but will probably benefit from air
or additional bottle time. We had the first pour from a newly opened bottle. — 8 years ago

Almost light green in the glass...explosive lime pith/tart lemon/bright yuzu/fresh mown grass on the nose... 12.5 ABV...light and ethereal in the mouth...I love this wine! Bought 6 last year for Berserker Day...12 this year and so glad I did. This is officially my summer patio quaffer this year. Perfect for Sunday supper of roast pork loin with mustard and fresh herbs. Under $20 a bottle and worth double that. — 4 years ago
