😍 i’m always amazed with a few years in the bottle can do for a wine. The wine showed so much maturity. The flavors were perfectly integrated and nonexistent tannins but still displaying vibrant fruit. In the nose, there was waning blue and black berries tinge with cocoa powder. Rich, deep stewed plum aromas with lots of spice and a touch of black licorice. Full, rich and mouth coating on the palate but not too heavy. Black fruit flavors and bright acidity lead to subtitle spice and a pleasant bitterness. The finish is long and smooth with a touch of tannin. — 9 years ago
