A welcoming home to California. The outsider holding up to the smoke country back ribs and blaring country in the Bose, a rowdy night with Doug — @Connor McMahon and @BRIAN BELL know what I mean. But for the wine... a bit of alcohol on the nose but drinks smooth with hits of warm dark fruits. Just exceptionably drinkable. Well done — 7 years ago
Dark fruit balanced through old oak showing light spice on the nose encouraging thought to nail a specific note but is remaining a bit of an enigma in my rock rattled head after a good day enhanced by 75 MPH Harley induced wind and the brilliance of Bose and an iPhone. Ok, back to the wine, it touches, lightly grabs spreading its dark berry mini-burst in a layered earth touched tannin slow ride making magic with some of Chapel Hill's Bin 54's straight up amazing goodness (in this case very rare filet mignon, garlic tinged green beans and almond slivers; my go to steak spot in NC). Damn, this is all so right-on! Cheers! — 9 years ago
Purchased at the winery. We did a group day trip tour from Rome to Tuscany. It was March, but the vineyard and its Bose speakers was still a fun attraction. 4.5 years later, having survived a move, among other things, we finally decided to pop it.
Nose: crushed rose petals, children’s cherry robitussin, bittersweet chocolate, forest floor after a campfire nearby.
Palette: raspberry & cherry, leather glove, velvety tannin that is pretty chill. Lighter body compared to other brunello, what sometimes is referred to as “elegance” honestly, kind of like Mozart (where other Brunellos can be like Wagner or something more modern) hehe.
Finish: menthol on the finish

Very fruity on the Bose, blackberry and cherry. First tastes of perfectly ripened blackberry. Great mouth feel, refreshing, not dry, fruit lingers. Finishes quickly with an almost Riesling esque sour sweet — 12 years ago
Needs some time to open. Dark cherry and baking spices on the bose. Tart and dry in the beginning, but turns smooth and delightful after some time. Medium body and acidity. Holds up really well with food — 6 years ago
Easy to drink, a little too easy almost. — 12 years ago
