Brushstroke tasting — 9 years ago
Just had a very nice red Txakoli at Bar Ferdinand in Philly for the first time & was recommended another one at David Bouley's Brushstroke in NYC... While both were very good, I liked this one a little more for its depth & complexity...and it went well with the duck dish we were having... 👉🍴🍷👍 — 11 years ago

If I'm remembering this correctly, sour cherry flavor. Very good pairing w pork belly at brushstroke, but wouldn't like alone — 10 years ago
This is great Cabernet Franc which is a personal favorite among grapes. It's smooth , with flavor and taste . The aroma is somewhat misleading but Beautiful color . 2 more years would add to it probably. — 11 years ago
Fantastic. Trocken of course means dry in German. Had at Brushstroke with tasting menu. — 9 years ago

Love Love Love this wine! 👉🍷👍👍 I first had it on recommendation by my friend & somm in SF and it became my go to red upon entering his restaurants... Have been searching for Marsannay since I moved back east and finally found it as I am leaving! Great wine which paired very well with Duck & Wagyu steak at David Bouley's Brushstroke in NYC... Highly recommend! #urbanfoodmaven #raptorsdelight — 11 years ago

Green salty melon rind. Green and ripe, paradoxically. Sizzling acid that comes in wave like back and forth brushstroke a across the tongue. Layers of complexity. Without a doubt the 13' has years of life. 💥 — 8 years ago
