Light to medium bodied, alcohol could be more discrete. Aromas if sour cherry compot, liquorice, and Mediterranean herbs. Quite jammy and nice residual sweetness. Not a bad example but doesn’t really compare to the Cantina Dorgali Classico 2015. — 6 years ago
Bought in supermarket in Dorgali, Sardinia. Didn't know what to buy so we went for the most expensive one (12,50 Euro). Very elegant, smooth, dry wine. — 8 years ago
Spice, fruit, depth. Our best Cannonau this far. — a year ago
Enjoyed the 2019 vintage that we first rated at the winery. Hint of oak. Sweet cherries abound. — 3 years ago

Deep garnet color with ruby highlights. Aromas of cooked red fruit and coffee. Ripe red cherry and raspberry fruit on the palate with distinctive notes of minerals, bittersweet chocolate and tobacco. Medium intensity and medium-plus bodied, but with a nice juicy quality and smooth and well integrated tannins and acidity. Nothing over the top but nicely balanced. Best on the first day. Great with lighter foods and an excellent value. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 5 months ago
