Dark red color with a lovely complex nose and a dark body with a full complex body that took about a week to fully develop and integrate open under Vacuvin at room temperature but was worth the wait as it out rated a 1989 chateauneuf du Pape & a 1986 Cote-Rotie. Lovely long aftertaste. A bargain! 9.3/10 — 5 years ago

Grape wine with natural flavors and carmine color. Aromatized wine product cocktail. Produced in Germany.
Personal notes: reminiscent of the popular European cocktail Aperol. — 8 months ago
Last bottle. Classic varietal scents on the nose, restrained, underscored by forest floor. Carmine color, with ever so slightly bricking on the rim. Some cherry and strawberry on the palate, starting to give way to tertiary flavors. Medium acidity, and subtle tannins, almost fully resolved. Great balance, in a beautiful spot right now. Tremendous value. — 4 years ago

Color: beautiful carmine red with a violet edge.
Nose: complex aromas of ripe fruits, undergrowth and fresh figs.
Palate: a very nice acidity carries the wine from start to finish, the tannin structure is full of finesse and the beautiful material is characterized by red fruit aromas. The finale ends on a slightly positive bitter note. — a year ago
A nice soft fragrance of dark cherry, vanilla and strawberry. Drinks very smoothly with flavors of spice, dark berries/cherry. Opens up very nicely once it breathes and is easy to drink! — 5 years ago
Carmine gave us just what we asked for: a lighter to medium body red with low tannins and mild earth. This fit the ticket perfectly- a delicious French wine in an Italian restaurant! — 6 years ago

"this vintage presents itself with a bright and deep carmine color and purple tints. It shows us notes that remind us of violets and ripe berries, such as blueberries and blackberries, a delicate black pepper, combined with soft hints of vanilla and cocoa on a toasted background from aging for 14 months in French Oak barrels. Its mouth is juicy, delicate and full-bodied as a result of its velvety tannins and fresh natural acidity. Round and complex wine with a long persistence on the palate. This wine has been produced in limited batches." — a year ago
