Perfect for a family lunch in an Italian Times Square restaurant. — 9 years ago
So... Here I am at Jaime's wedding rehearsal in Queens.... Italian place off Woodhaven... 20 year old Amarone and at least 5-years past it's prime... Good, but showing signs of deterioration. Cherry, cedar, fruit, light tannins, nice finish... Carmine's wife tastes prunes and smells grappa.... Who knows, she thinks I look like Phillip Seymour Hoffman in my scarf... In my defense, I get to break out the scarf once a year in Boca... I've certainly had better Amarones... — 10 years ago

This is one of the smoothest Pinot Noirs I've ever drank. Had it at Carmine's in NYC and had to ask. Absolutely delicious. — 9 years ago

NYC BABY! Empire State Building, Times Square, thanksgiving floats being blown up and now Carmine's!!! Yay!! Wine is delish! A little jammy. Very yummy, especially after walking 35 blocks b/c it was impossible to get a cab. — 9 years ago
Had this at Carmine's in Atlantic City for my birthday. — 12 years ago

Silky smooth with notes of red fruits/berries and hints of leather/tobacco. Great pairing with pomodoro (Carmine's) — 7 years ago
