Castillo De Las Almenas

Bodegas Casa Castillo

Las Gravas Jumilla Monastrell 2020

This wine is a winner for me on day 1. Needed two hours to begin opening up. Lively, fresh - round tannins and beautiful acidity. Taste profile is interesting to me - more earthy and coffee than fruity. Really balanced and harmonious. Very interesting and satisfying. Made from Mourvèdre grown in the Jumilla region in Spain. Drank even better on day 2. — a year ago

Love wines from Jumilla, and I don’t remember a single bottle from there I didn’t like. Strange…
