Really nice super Tuscan 50 / 50 can sauv and merlot. Tannins mellow but start to come out if solution. Dark and red cherries with the definite slight green seed tannins of Italian wine. It is very smooth and quit enjoyable. — 10 years ago

2004 vintage. Very structure-driven wine. Black fruits of stewed plum, black fig, black cherry, currant, cedar, pencil lead, dried herbs, freshly-turned earth, cloves, dried purple flowers. Really fine-grained tannins that are very drying...surprising for a wine this age. Never would have pegged this for Sangiovese, seemed more like a high-quality Bordeaux variety. — 10 years ago
Had at Landini Bros in Alexandria, VA with Debra. Fabulous flavors and soft tannins! We both loved it!😘 — 10 years ago
