Was poking around a little wine shop downtown, found a display of this reading “do you like Sauvignon blanc? [Full disclosure: I do, in fact, like Sauvignon blanc.] Then you should be drinking white Bordeaux!” [Full disclosure 2: the actual signage was much more refined.] Anyway, the signage worked, I bought it and I like it a lot. The best Malbec I have had. Elegant earthy and filled with leather and intense but mellow tannins, this wine is extraordinary. The palette starts soft, and finishes with a powerful bang. A truly great wine. Should be consumed with steak. — 8 years ago
