The nose is true to its type, showing some green pepper bell notes, along with black pepper and cherry. The palate shows a good acid drive, but it's balanced with a good width and and a soft mouthfeel, some bright cherry notes all along, some carressing tannins kick in in the rear, making way for a fruity finish with a tiny minty note in the end. This is a typical chinon and this is very enjoyable. It lacks probably a bit of structure but gives immediate pleasure. — 2 years ago
