Domaine de la Morandière, chinon vieilles vignes rouge 2021 The nose is true to its type, showing some green pepper bell notes, along with black pepper and cherry. The palate shows a good acid drive, but it's balanced with a good width and and a soft mouthfeel, some bright cherry notes all along, some carressing tannins kick in in the rear, making way for a fruity finish with a tiny minty note in the end. This is a typical chinon and this is very enjoyable. It lacks probably a bit of structure but gives immediate pleasure. — 2 years ago
