Summer sipper from the local coop. Pale yellow. Excellent clarity. Fruity start in the mouth, almost tart finish. Flavors transition from orange, orchard fruit and a hint of pineapple to tart grapefruit, dramatic actually in that unexpected first sip. No apparent wood or barrel action so this is about the interplay of three varietals, two of which I have no experience tasting previously. I like it for summer sipping, and it would stand up to lighter foods. Mineral aftertaste. Fine value here. — 2 years ago
Screw-top, grocery store, not expecting much despite French, but I am quite enjoying this one. Polite and even refined. Maybe I just like Merlot? — 7 years ago
