Vintage 2018 | Bastides d’Alquier made from Grenache and Syrah. Lots and lots of character. A clear cellar wine that does not give its beauty easily, rich and complex smell with laurel, flint, leather, cigarbox wood. Tannins in taste, it seems the wine screams for a steak or a piece of very old Gouda cheese. — 2 years ago

Delicious--slightly funky & fun! Getting something like a cream lime quality from this that was bothering me trying to pin down, but overall getting cream/lactic citrus fruit notes (lime, apricot), pear, pineapple, floral.
