Red / violet floral + woodsy nose, classic earthy-iron varietal aroma, bright acidity, soft tannins and a bit of roundness courtesy of the Merlot, some spice on the finish. Très surprenant. Un vin à $16 (SAQ-Cellier) qui passe super bien. Sec 2.5g de sucre, fruits rouges, mi-corsé, très rond, bien équilibré, descend très bien, très fluide. 90% Sangiovese 10% Carbernet Sauvignon, c’est comme un Chianti mais non assemblé selon les normes, mais il est très bon. — 8 months ago

We quite liked this, 2021, bottling in 2024. Label does not say “Sangiovese” or “blend” just Vino Rosso but otherwise the same label, the front has an Angel with a torch. Unique scent noticeable, not unpleasant. — 4 months ago
