Fantastic viognier, can't believe it's made in Texas. Fruity and flavorful without being too sweet. — 9 years ago
Dark fruit. Medium tannins. Good food wine - could be good with a richer meal, red meat — 3 years ago
Super smooth and tasty. Even after 9 years. Really enjoyed this one. Nice work Texas — 7 years ago
Rich and layered flavors of dark fruits. Hint of spice makes this really impressive. — 9 years ago
Deep dark red with brownish rim. Mild black pepper. Very mild tannins. Dark fruit. — 3 years ago
This is a very pale Texas wine with a very citric nose. Lemon leads the way, but there is lime and orange peel in play, too. A hint of lemon chess pie floats through the minerality along with an herbal note. The palate shows apricot and nectarine flavors filtering through the spicy greenness of the herbaceous essence of the wine. The acidity is zippy, but not overly so. Pairing this with a cool, green salad this summer is a no-brainer. — 3 years ago

Pale ruby in color; black cherries, raspberries, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like cherries, red currants, and wet gravel with a long finish. Nellie and I like it. — 8 months ago
