A few notches above the bottom-shelf-dwelling Egervin Bikaver, so it was a pleasure to try this one. Notes of cherries, earth, coffee grounds, and a bit of spice. While this one is not (I'm confident) a top-shelf "superior" Bikaver bottle (which I want to try soon!), this one was still lovely. A blend of Kekfrankos, Merlot, Kadarka, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sagrantino. 1/28/22. — 3 years ago
