Enso, made in PDX, has released their "Chateauneuf du Stark" based on the quartet of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Counoise (each at 25%) from Columbia Valley. Fragrant, phat, flirting with smoke & slate but so juicy...call me muy loco but it reminds me of papaya crossed with tobacco. Whatever, this li'l Stark ode to Chateauneuf isn't too big for its britches, it's daring & delightful! — 9 years ago
