This is the Fattoria Palazzuolo 1982 Sangiovese. It's pretty amazing, full of cherry, anise, and dark chocolate flavors. While some Sangioveses are on the lighter side, this is a wine as big as a Napa Cab. We enjoyed it with food but it would make a quite respectable cocktail wine. — 13 days ago
