Back-to-back Grosbois cuvée's. This is very gentle, my favorite expression of Loire cabernet franc (and hard to find). Red fruits, cherry, pie, spice, and perfumed forest floor. Tart fruit and dusty tannins with a long finish. A more contemplative wine this is. Not as good as the 2018 Gabare but the juxtaposition of the candied aroma and the racy, tannic wine is intriguing. — 6 years ago
This wine is going to surprise a few people this year. Soft tannins and nice florals already. — 10 years ago
Super pretty fresh deep franc fruit — 11 years ago

Vintage 2021 | Demeter bio dynamic wine. Cabernet Franc, 35hl/ha, 45 y old vines, 75% ripened 18 months in concrete vats, 25% barrel aging. Light colour, raspberries and some spicyness. Excellent balance and drinks very easy. One third of my winefriends called gamay for this wine. A understadable mistake, as this is is a very very cheerful wine. Easy to misunderstand. — 6 hours ago
