Another great wine from Greenhill! 50% Oak, 50% stainless. A great balance of acidity and vanilla/oak flavors. I really enjoy this wine. — 7 years ago

My tastes have changed in the last few years. I used to love younger Napa cabs with tannins that would rip your soul out.
Now vibing on these softer, balanced blends. This one is very nice (and from Virginia?!?!) with just enough tannins to allow me to save face with my former self. — 3 years ago
I am surprised at how much I like this build. Balanced mouthfeel and acids while actually being flavorful! Rich without being ostentatious ;) — 6 years ago
This is man’s CF...rich and robust! Loads of forest and spice surround a dark cherry portrait. Wonderful mid-palate and generous finish… I wish I had more as I opened this one prematurely – thinking I was opening the 2015 vintage. Nevertheless, tremendously delicious and shows great promise for future vintages based on Sebastian‘s style of cab Franc! — 7 years ago

Very tactful build by the Frenchman...he took lighter extracted Syrah and added Mourvèdre, Tannat for acid/structure/tannin & CF for a modest 9mon in oak. Absolutely charming with a meaty angel hair pasta with vodka blush sauce. Tasty with Neapolitan Pizza too. Add a bottle for 20$ in the clearance bin in FR...this one was gifted to me tho. but he is very Pinot-like with the structure of a feminine Syrah/Chamboursin blend. Worth the 20$ if going that way ;) — 4 years ago
