Yup, it's too extracted, too rich, too blunt, too jammy. And, man, it's a riot to drink. Maybe not on the reg but not everything can be hints of rose petals and essence of bergamot. It's a dark fruit monster, reduced blackberries and blueberries, cassis flying around, jammy gnarly Shiraz. Big style catering to certain tastes. Fine... Jah feel. — 11 years ago

Syrah often delivers juicy, darker red with lots of tannins- this wine however comes across as extremely juicy, dark- but far less tannic.
Lots of blueberry, dark berry, and a hint of spice in the end
