Took a while to open up. Figs, wet flowers, buttered toast, and chocolate aromas with a some alcohol. Lime acidity, flavors of nutmeg, blackberries, honeydew, plum, and something reminiscent of a forest fog. Bright up front, immediately followed by an intense dryness. Finishes with wood, like pressing your tongue on a 2x4, but not unpleasant. This wine brought up a lot of fond memories, odd how that can happen. — 8 years ago
Big, bold Merlot blend from Santa Maria that is very much part of the ongoing trend of unique and forward-thinking wines coming out of Central Coast. Love it. — 9 years ago
