@Delectable Wine this is the artist series Shiraz. Was not in the database.
I've had a few wines from New Mexico, but this one is probably one of the most interesting. The nose of this wine goes all over the place. Everything from tart cherry to mint to raspberry to almost kind of a mushroom and truffle. This wine is predominantly tart black cherry on the palate. A little dash of mint, and some tobacco and a little bit of truffle on the finish. Definitely showing signs of age, but not over the hill. This was quite enjoyable, and a little bit of a head-scratcher. Not so sure if I ever would have guessed this was a Shiraz. — 5 years ago
