Second time trying this bottling and the extra year definitely helped. Perfect serving temperature by using the Kelvin K2 Wine Thermometer, really made a big difference. Light to medium garnet red. Beautiful nose with notes of lilacs, spices, red berries and twigs. Medium tannins (5/10) and solid acidity. Light plus to medium bodied. Crushed floral notes on the palate with a touch of earthiness, dried cherries, raspberries, herbal notes, strawberries and rhubarb. Long finish. Drink till 2022. — 8 years ago
