2009. We really enjoyed this wine tonight! Mild black pepper, leather, meat, and earth from the Syrah and Mourvèdre, but I loved the red fruits from the Grenache. Great with a grilled ribeye and mushrooms.

Fruit-forward with blackberry, marionberry, and cassis, with secondary characteristics of pepper, leather and earth. Silky tannin, fairly extracted, med + finish. Unmistakably new world, in a good way.
