Nose is white flowers. Lovely. An elegant perfume.
Palate is a hint of white nectarines. Lemon pith. Very mineral. A hint of salt. Long salty finish. Wow. Killer entry level greco. Killer. — 2 years ago
Della Vite Prosecco Rose is extra dry and it has a strong aroma of apple and grapes. — a year ago
Finally the LCBO and I agree on a rating. This is the lower offering to the amazing Luce at a third of the price. Lots of dark berry, vanilla oak and some moca/chocolate. Truly a great value for an excellent super Tuscan wine. Will get better with age, but good now and surprisingly smooth for being so young. Dig it! — 6 years ago
Delectable Wine

A delicate whiff of dusty dried violets gives way to cedary spice and crushed plums as the 2020 Luce slowly opens in the glass. This is soothingly round and supple with cooling acidity and a tinge of minerality up front. Tart red berry fruits swirl across a stream of zesty acidity. The 2020 displays fantastic depth and concentration, tapering off long and gently tannic as black raspberries pucker the cheeks. This is a very approachable vintage of Luce, yet the balance is spot on. Nicely done. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)
