Apolloni

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Rosé 2018

Brisk and refreshing Pinot Noit rosé with strawberries, orange, and a background of creme fraiche on the nose. Well balanced acidity on the pallate with flavors of strawberry, grapefruit, a bit tropical flair coming through with a hint of guava. Definitely kept coming back for more and it paired outstanding with a perfect evening outside! Number 2 of our 12 rosés of summer. @Michael Ager @Anne Ager [6/11/20] — 5 years ago

Dashe Cellars

Florence Vineyard Zinfandel 2012

Open over 10 hours after showing it all day, and so lovely. Floral and red fruit, with silky tannins make this my favorite single vineyard Mike and Anne make. My go-to for grilled salmon. — 10 years ago

Dashe Cellars

Todd Brothers Ranch Old Vines Zinfandel 2003

An old vintage (gift from Anne & Mike) to share with family over Christmas pasta dinner. Tannins are well-integrated, fruit is dark like blackberry/cherry cobbler, and acidity is still fresh yet much softer than current vintage. — 11 years ago

Lytton Springs Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel Blend 1994

Any Zinfandel that still tastes this fresh after 12 years deserves five gold stars. The first vintage Mike Dashe really crafted out of Lytton Springs and made even better when sharing alongside him, Anne and the Dashe team. — 9 years ago

Block 2 Louvau Vineyard Zinfandel 2014

Double the mL double the fun. Can't wait to release this Wine Club exclusive magnum later this week! In the words of Anne Dashe, a "slutty" wine, with fresh plum, pomegranate reduction, and blueberry in all the right places. It'll take all my willpower to hold this for a few years (aka never happening). — 10 years ago

Chartogne-Taillet

Cuvée Michael Mina Brut Champagne Blend

Taillet sainte Anne brut. A nice Champagne with about a 60/40 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Light mousse with tiny bubbles this wine for its price is complex. Peach and melon flavors with citrus zest and a gentle nuttiness. Lively acidity with good balance. Long finish ending with yeasty notes. — 9 years ago

Ridge Vineyards

Monte Bello Ridge Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 1996

Almost 20 years old and drinking just fine. Dark blue fruit, silky tannins and dusty earth and mineral on the finish. Michael Dashe had me taste it blind...I got fairly close, but guesses too young! — 10 years ago

Forgot to mention that Mike made this wine, in the same year he and Anne made their first vintage of Dashe Dry Creek Zin. Busy guy, that boss o' mine!

Dashe Cellars

Louvau Vineyard Old Vines Zinfandel 2011

Brighter color than 2004 and 2012. Fresh and lively fruit and softer (but still vibrant) tannins. Very zippy acidity compared to 2004. Anne says that 2011 is a more European vintage. — 11 years ago

I had to ask Anne since I didn't get any of this club exclusive. She says its drinking very well now, but 7-10 years will do it fine. If you like your zin fruitier, drink it young as it will get darker with cellar time.
