Brisk and refreshing Pinot Noit rosé with strawberries, orange, and a background of creme fraiche on the nose. Well balanced acidity on the pallate with flavors of strawberry, grapefruit, a bit tropical flair coming through with a hint of guava. An old vintage (gift from Anne & Mike) to share with family over Christmas pasta dinner. Tannins are well-integrated, fruit is dark like blackberry/cherry cobbler, and acidity is still fresh yet much softer than current vintage. — 12 years ago

Brighter color than 2004 and 2012. Fresh and lively fruit and softer (but still vibrant) tannins. Very zippy acidity compared to 2004. Anne says that 2011 is a more European vintage. — 12 years ago

Taillet sainte Anne brut. A nice Champagne with about a 60/40 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Light mousse with tiny bubbles this wine for its price is complex. Peach and melon flavors with citrus zest and a gentle nuttiness. Lively acidity with good balance. Long finish ending with yeasty notes. — 10 years ago

Almost 20 years old and drinking just fine. Dark blue fruit, silky tannins and dusty earth and mineral on the finish. Michael Dashe had me taste it blind...I got fairly close, but guesses too young! — 11 years ago
