Wonderful cherry pie bouquet!!!! Like all Oregon pinot noirs, okay , most, there is a initial burst of cherries and strawberries. The mid palate delivers a hint of plumb followed by a dissolve into oaky , earthy, volcanic soil, dry bliss! Wow. Very very nice. I need another sip quick! — 8 years ago
Medium tannins, violets and black cherries. Silky finish. Excellent wine! — 9 years ago
Citrus and tropical fruits. Pairs well with food or a great stand alone summer sipper. — 9 years ago
This is by far my favorite Pinot Noir. It has a very nice ruby color, is absolutely clear, has a medium body, medium notes of primarily red fruit, and an exquisite medium finish. There is no amber ring in the glass, something I typically do see in most Pinots. This wine is perfectly ready for drinking. If you were to blind taste this, you might mistake it for a lighter Merlot. From Willamette Valley, it is superb. If you have had Montinore Pinot Noir, you’ll notice this to have a fuller mouth feel and longer finish. — 6 years ago
