Deep red purple, medium + tannin, on the nose is herbaceous, stemmy, bright lifted & peppery blackcurrent juice! Such a complex Shiraz! Had it with grilled steak and it is absolutely perfect! — 8 years ago
This was the McIntyre - and bloody good too! — 10 years ago
I’m a fussy one with Pinot. It should not come from Western Australia IMO. Clones or climate, prob both. This from the Mornington Peninsula is everything I want. Lower alcohol, rose petals, violets, no confection, some spices. It went really well with a Chicken Biryani. I’ve always loved their Chardonnay and now I’m late to their Pinot Show but loving this immensely. 2019.
(And then I remember that Batista Estate Angelina Pinot is a doll. From WA) 🩷 — 10 months ago
Nice red fruit flavours, but alongside a good background of wood and spice. Summer evening, perfect time — 10 years ago
Enjoyed the 2020, a very different and lovely wine. — 3 years ago
Delivered everything and more from what I expected and remembered after tasting it a few years back when released — 10 years ago

A wine with many layers. Tried this after Greywacke Marlborough Pinot Gris. Fresher, but with pleasant hints of vanilla, and on the drier side. — 8 months ago
