Tried to Coravin a glass but no luck, this was so reductive that efforts were futile. So I drank a taste of campfire and the day after opened it and tasted for real. The profile is full northern Rhône, maybe with a touch of gamay. Small red berries, bramble, a touch of organic earth, layers of stony complexity and tasty tanning. Extremely elegant showing, very tasty but only after lots of air. UPDATED from 9.4 to 9.2: I. Is tasted it on 4 occasions and the greatness, though there, shows itself only under perfect air and temperature. A bit too finicky — 4 years ago
A bit dark and needs a good 25 mins of breathing before drinking. — 5 years ago

An highly enjoyable Godello from Bierzo in Leon as you approach Galicia. Served with shrimp, leek and cannellini bean stew. Good salinity and tree fruits (including pear). — 15 days ago
