The 2015 Pepper Bridge Merlot is an excellent bottling which was sourced from the Seven Hills, Pepper Bridge and Octave Vineyards. The Merlot has 14% Cabernet Franc and 7% Malbec blended in. This shows perfumed red fruits and toasty oak on the nose. The palate has a smooth texture and lovely mouthfeel. Bright, mouthwatering acidity connects with red cherry cordial, black tea, and blackberry pie flavors. While this is rich it also displays notable tension. Enjoy this delicious effort over the next decade. Drink 2019-2029- 92 — 6 years ago
This is re-casked (believe correct term) in an Octave and therefore only 60 bottles available. I and the tasting group did not taste some of the flavor profile the bottler saw - pear/citrus and found it more wood/dried fruits/caramel/toffee. This one was the darkest brown if the group and I found the most flavorful. It’s power at 51.8%. Adding a drop of water I thought really changed the profile and made it run hotter for me. The finish on this lasts well past a minute. I usually don’t notice the finish for that long but this one stayed there for a whole and made so you didn’t forget it. Might be best if the night or at least tied with Blackadder. — 4 years ago
Wonderstuff!
Although it’s non-vintage, it was disgorged in 2017. — 5 years ago
This is the best bottling I've had from these guys. On the second day it really is hitting all the notes with about a three octave range. — 7 years ago

Not bad but a tad bit too high on alcohol for me to enjoy it — 6 years ago
