Immediately after decanting the nose was mute, the taste monotone, although the structure and tannins were balanced and robust. Don’t judge prematurely. Was going to call it a loss but left it for an hour and it blossomed with black fruit (blueberry) and syrup. Fine start to the weekend. — 2 years ago

2020 - vintage - Touriga Nacional-35%, Alfrocheiro-35% -Tinta Roriz-30% ( also known as Tempernillo) I have mixed feelings about this wine - very dark color - not a lot of oak aging here with these tannic varieties but the aromas are nice leafy big blackberry fruit , coca powder medium plus tannins , medium acidity ,13 %ABV (seems like I would enjoy this more with extended barrel aging) still for the price point very enjoyable. — 8 months ago
