Tasted the wine in between 2 great Napa cab and this Merlot more than held its own. Deep inky color, complex nose of red berries and herbs balanced out with oaky smell. Fresh, layered, and full body, refined tannins, the wine probably just enters its prime and can be cellared for several more years. A great merlot. — 9 years ago
