Nice aromas of citrus, peach and minerals. Medium plus acidity, very nice sipping on a sunny porch and with a charcuterie board. — a month ago

The 2008 vintage has lots of fruit, nice tanins and acids. Could even be better in five years! — 8 years ago

Gamonal Vino de la Tierra de León Prieto Picudo

Medium bodied, a little pepper nose with some floral hints. Aeration and or allow the wine to open for a bit before enjoying. Went very nicely with meaty mushroom bolognese pasta. — 10 months ago

@Dana Kennedy that looks like a healthy pour. Way to go. We finally got a new washing machine today after our Samsung washer broke 3 weeks ago and the dog has been throwing up all day😩. Glad you like the wine!

Good timing on the washing machine then! Poor dog. Hope she feels better quickly.

Vino Rosado

I don’t know what it is about this wine, or rosé in general for that matter... I want to like it as it feels elegant and fresh on the fore pallet, I want to love it as a matter of fact, but it seems as if there are hallow particles in the liquid after the mid pallet. There is something hiding in it, it is somewhere in there but my pallet just doesn’t grasp it! Then, towards the middle of the glass, bottle possibly, it all comes together like the latter part of a Frank Schubert cello piece and reminds me that I need to try more rosé wine. — 7 years ago

Coto de Gomariz

The Flower and the Bee (La Flor y la Abeja) Treixadura 2013

All citrus blossom honey and lush grass aromatics before an invigorating and lengthy sip. I'm going to take a bottle of this to Belle Isle Conservatory's Palm House along with the Pardevalles and have myself a little Spanish white tasting. — 10 years ago
