Well damn, this is a pretty convincing impression of the the paisano wines from the motherland. Has the pure cherry fruit and bloody/iron-tinged earth thing going on, as well as some dried floral character. Nice ripeness and grip, maybe only lacking a bit of acid (compared to Piedmont or Tuscany) but this was a pretty all-star pairing with a reverse-seared NY strip frites. Decanted for an hour or two, threw a ton of sediment and floaters. Bravo to Mr. Harrington. — 5 years ago
High dollar Wednesday night pasta wine for Paso wine lovers. Or make a really great Italian dish for your friends that are into wine and/or want to understand the nuances of the Willow Creek District. — 9 years ago

Very nice central coast Nebbiolo, definitely feel the cool climate effects. Lighter bodied than expected, but still good structure and nice tart fruit and twiggy components! — 3 years ago
