Joe and Sandy brought this lovely bottle from their home cellar selection where they are club members. The Maitre’d decanted it for over an hour, just perfect. — 6 years ago
A typically Andrew Burnham selection!
Briny and oxidative. Peach pit and old leather on the nose. Brilliant bubbles, unripe apricot and lemon on the palate. Oyster-worthy acid and a forest floor, mushroomy finish.
So wonderful! — 8 years ago

Ruby colored with beautiful aromas of strawberry and green pepper accompanied by tobacco and floral notes. Savory on the palate with striking minerality and a tannic structure which should give it a long life although it’s approachable now . A Peter Weygandt selection made by Marc Plouzeau from a parcel of 150+ year-old ungrafted vines in Touraine that escaped phylloxera in the 19th century. 12.5% ABV. $40. — 6 years ago
By the glass Chenin Blanc selection at Le Coucou. Really excellent. Might be something to the current wine geek obsession with the grape - intensely aromatic from a burgundy stem, incredibly mouth filling with great weight, lemony minerality, and a long finish. — 8 years ago
Соломенно—золотистое. Пышное, сливочно—фруктовое, белые цветы, мед, ананас, выпечка. Хорошая кислотность и баланс. Потенциальное. — 9 years ago
Wine 3/3 we put up against homemade pizza night. The blend on this wine was listed as 95% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Much more complete of a wine than the one before it in the evening. Clean and composed, this wine struck a balance of its blend and benefitted from its barrel program. At a great spot with perfectly tuned levels of earth, fruit, and minerality all working together. — 6 years ago
I gave a few of these away as gifts a few years ago. Probably shouldn't have done that because this one is singing now. NEVER would have guessed if this was a blind tasting that it was an 04 Napa...would have guessed 11 or 12. Very youthful nose, that leads to an equally youthful palate. Nose of blackberry, grilled meat...lavender<?>. Entry was blackberry, cassis, grilled meat, more to the middle was black licorice and some black pepper spice that stayed through the finish. Full bodied palate. I am still just astonished at the youth here. Finishes with a great traditional blackberry and black pepper. Tannins are much softer than the 14 VS I had 3 months ago. Autographed by Peter Sr, Jr, and Marc. This one seems to have the guts to go another 10 years easily, maybe longer. We are RIGHT THERE at the top right now, so if you have this wine I'd consider opening at least one bottle in the next month or so. — 7 years ago
This bottle is a celebration of the owners', Emily & Peter Gladhart, 50th wedding anniversary. It's a selection of our 3 best barrels from the vintage. Nose of complex earthy notes of cedar, earl gray and cigar box with notes of cherry tartness and white pepper. Juicy acidity and soft tannins linger on the finish — 9 years ago

This Cabernet Franc from the Peter winery Israel was an absolute beauty, lovely nose militia layered with red berries, black berries, earth notes and a touch of oak, medium to full body with firm tannins, great acidity and a lovely finish. My score 90, drink to 2023 — 5 years ago
