Let it breathe for about an hour. Gorgeous wine — 8 years ago
I like West Australian Pinot harking back to the days when I used to buy Moss Wood Pinot Noir. Tasting this brought all those memories flooding back of the savoury earthy plummy aromas and flavours - mellifluous yet with intensity and length. Rob earnt a Gold Medal for this wine at Royal Perth. I bought a few bottles as I did at Plantagenet later in the day of their Pinot. Excellent stuff. — 5 years ago

Very crisp for a red and aromatic from the get go. Does not need decanting and ready to drink. — 7 years ago

Very drinkable. Maybe it’s just me... — 6 years ago
Savoury cherries and some cocoa notes on nose. Well balanced. I really like Great Southern Shiraz (WA). Preferable to Margaret River Shiraz in the West Australian sphere. Tasted again on 23 rd March 2018. Lovely earthy savoury cherry nose and palate. Supple tannins. Traveling well at 11 years. — 7 years ago

See previous note from January 2024. Sous Bois, Forest floor to the max. WA better known for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz but Pemberton produces a good Pinot Noir. More savoury than fruit driven. — 4 months ago
