Interesting story. Bettina was NOT born into a winery family. She is making wine with her friend Am Kaiserstuhl in Baden - Germany. Gorgeous golden color. Skin contact. Super fresh crisp, clean and clear - not an orange wine in that regard. Dried apricots, great balance between acidity and fruit. Touch bing cherry - tannic. — 6 months ago
Dry, acidic, flavorful, goes well with food — 5 years ago
This is sensational. The nose is suppressata, oregano, and sun dried tomato. The mouth is fuller bodied perfect balance of cherries, fresh acidity, and smooth tannin. Love this producer. — 6 years ago
Not as smooth as the Bettina for sure. Finish is a little harsher. A good bite to it. Dark and strong. Some menthol. — 8 years ago

Tom Garland
hour decant (some chunky sediment). A deep dark magenta color. On the nose: subdued notes of dark fruit, herbaceous, dark chocolate, pencil shavings, clove. Taste: concentrated, silky, balanced wine with dark plum, currants, dark chocolate, coffee, and a long spiced loamy soil fimish. YUM! — 16 days ago
