In a really good place right now. Blackberry and black cherry give way to mushroom, herbs and forest floor. Tannins are silky and integrated. Full and round on the palette. There are times when I think I'm buying too much wine and consider leaving Russel's list. Then I open a bottle like this and see that I could never do that. — 7 years ago
Vanilla, toffee, and marzipan on the addictively sweet nose. On the palate, the spices and rye rise out of the vanilla. The finish is long, and evolves as you enjoy the flavor. — 9 years ago
