My first time having this varietal. The sommelier at Astor Wines recommended this bottle as a representation of the grape. Absolutely love this! Strong minerality and well balanced. Everything I wish a dry Riesling brought to the glass. — 9 years ago
I have a soft spot in my heart (and my palate) for dornfelder. A grape that doesn’t get enough recognition. Light in body, like a Pinot, but has a peppery spiceness that makes it a great winter red. Blackberries are dominant, some other darker fruits. There is also good chocolate and coffee flavors that round it out well. — 11 years ago
Damn great Rose served up with aplomb at Sardines in the West Village. They know what they are doing... — 12 years ago

Dryish. The funk is subtle but it's there. Grassy, earthy, like bell peppers. But lingering sweetness, like bright juicy apricots with lemon. Tart finish. — 5 years ago

A very nice unfiltered white from Germany. Cloudy in the glass, with a hint of body from some possible skin contact. Quite full with an impression of being slightly off dry (though I don’t believe it is). @Delectable Wine the grape is Pinot Gris, apparently also called Grauburgunder - it’s a white. — 7 years ago
A perfect summer wine! — 11 years ago
DTF. Would recommend a second bottle. But seriously, for the money this is crazy refreshing. — 12 years ago
