Very tasty and fruity — 2 years ago
Smooth and just the right amount of tannins for a grilled steak and potato dinner. Very enjoyable. — 3 years ago
Planted in 1971, the fruit was selected from the oldest section of Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. Aromas of berry fruit with subtle floral and spice, aged for 22 months in new French oak. On the palate raspberry and cherry fruit flavors, a bit crisp with light oak tones. Firm tannins, a bit tight, lingering, ending with mineral notes. Very nice, tasting well now! — 5 years ago

Really nice with braised pork shank, which seems to have become a fixture since it was on the menu for the Shawshank Redemption. — 7 months ago
